First time visiting this Hyatt, don't be fooled by the sat nav. When you come out of the tube station. The hotel is literally in the Westfield shopping center with its entrance next to the eating arena. It's not the best looking hotel from the outside but once through the entrance your be met by the friendly concierge. Where you will take the lift to the 3rd floor. There you are met by friendly front desk staff and given your keycard to your room. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout. We stayed one night to see Abba Voyage which was a 10min journey by taxi. The concierge guys sorted our taxi out there and back. The room on the 8th floor had an extra large bed and for first time ever decent pillows!! it was quite and you were able to open a window. Bonus on a hot day. The view we had was residential flats but ive had worse. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and had good selection of cooked and continental. Due to the hot weather we sat in the large outdoor seating area which is a nice addition to the hotel. If you love to shop and eat this is a good hotel for just that. Good access to the rest of London via the tube.

The front-of-house team member, Jay, was excellent, very welcoming and accommodating. My parents were concerned about atmospheric noise on a Saturday and they put them in a quiet part of the hotel. The breakfast selection and quality was also great. Bed was super comfortable. Would highly recommend it to other travellers, just be mindful that the location is very much 'in the thick of it', i.e. attached to Westfield with all the bars / restaurants in close proximity (which is obviously great if that's what you want but a bit of an overwhelming approach to the hotel / not a very peaceful area if that's not what you're after).

I ended up being upgraded having initially been offered a room with a wet room which I declined. i was late checking in so disappointed that the room i had booked was not available as booked but then pleased with the upgrade to a suite. The room was clean and very comfortable, although the coffee machine did not work and the room had no towels (this was quickly remedied by reception. The restaurant was still open despite the time. The service was great and getting a salad was no trouble at all. The breakfast was good - lots of choice and good food (despite bing a buffet).

30 steps from shopping arcade and restaurants (but hotel very quiet). 20 mins easy accessible walk through Olympic Park to ABBA venue. Numerous lifts to get you to your floor/room. Conceige for bag drop-off. Lovely breakfast - excellent choices. Room heating easy to adjust, very comfy bed, decent sized TV, liked the robe and slippers. Iron+ board, hairdryer, fridge (no contents) also provided. Rooms well sound-proofed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast £20 each, if booked day before. Bar area stays open late for alcohol and hot drinks.

The Hyatt Regency is next to a large mall and within a 10 minute walk to the London Stadium (formerly Olympic Stadium for the 2012 Olympics), so all the modern conveniences were available. The front desk/registration was on the 3rd floor, with Hyatt Regency rooms on floors 4-8 and Hyatt House rooms on floors 9 and above (street level entrance had the bellman's desk/luggage storage). Full buffet (and yummy) breakfast was served (on the 3rd floor with an outdoor area available) for those who opted for the breakfast option.
